Starfos | Biorefining and circular economy for sustainability
The goal is new products from renewable sources in connection with the circular economy strategy using environmentally friendly technologies solving individual elements of EGD related to current social and ecological problems. Effective use of waste from agriculture, animal production or forestry as well as various discarded buildings, electrical equipment and plastics to obtain biostimulants from green hydrolysate from animal waste, agricultural reclamation of landfills with mixed biochar with biostimulants for fast-growing woody plants, new biopesticides to replace chemical pesticides; catalysts for the synthesis of petrochemicals from ethanol based on lignocellulosic materials, petroleum products from complete recycling of plastics, green energy by reusing discarded solar panels, etc.
