A special solution is a matter of course for us!

At Briklis, we recently completed the production of one of our larger briquetting presses for grinding slurry for a customer in Switzerland. This project was a challenge – the customer required the preservation of all existing peripherals including a direct connection of the silo to our press.

Thanks to the fact that we have our own construction in Malšice, we were able to design and manufacture a precisely tailored hopper for the customer. This ensured a smooth transition of the material from the silo to the press  without any leakage of grinding sludge outside the machine. With this type of waste, precision is key, as free-falling sludge can cause not only pollution but also operational complications, and you really don’t want that 😉!

Pressing grinding sludge into briquettes certainly has its specifics, but it brings significant benefits. From this specific waste, we can obtain valuable liquids such as emulsions and oils, which can be further used. And a lot of them. Pressing not only reduces the volume of waste, but also saves natural resources and supports a sustainable approach to production ♻️.
